Context

Brussels-Capital Region — Paradigm (CIRB). Lead Integration Architect since November 2023, after a Solution Architect title on the same programme from February 2023. WePulse is a €70M multi-tenant SaaS transformation programme serving the municipalities of the region.

Contribution

  • Define the target integration and data-flow architecture, using MuleSoft, Kafka, Airflow and Azure Synapse.
  • Architect the MuleSoft integration layer that orchestrates application interfaces, enterprise services and data exchanges.
  • Design the AIoT integration architecture for Parking/PoliceZone initiatives.
  • Design Identity Governance and Administration, with tenant-isolation and access-control patterns supporting GDPR compliance.
  • Define architecture governance, target operating models and reusable integration principles, as a permanent member of the Architecture Review Board.
  • Drive the migration of the on-premises ELK platform to a managed SaaS solution, with Kafka-based event streaming.
  • Align integration architecture, cloud landing zones and the organisation's enterprise architecture vision.
  • Design cloud landing-zone capabilities and assess risks and mitigations for the data-centre migration programme.
  • Lead implementation partners, subcontractors and technology providers through architecture and delivery.
